Time Out For Family Friendly Fun
Stayed two days at Golden Tulip Resort Dibba and had the best time out with the family since arriving in the Middle East. The hotel is very family friendly and the Guest service is welcoming, warm and friendly to all ages of the family group. The resort is a place to chill out, enjoy the pool, the food, the table tennis & pool table facilities and the beach. The waves on this beach are awesome, be sure to bring your boogie boards. We have never laughed so much as a family. Highly recommend the snorkelling tour where we were all able to sight black tip reef sharks, turles and an amazing selection of tropical fish. For a time out family holiday, in a very quiet place, surrounded by spectacular scenery, I recommend Golden Tulip Resort Dibba. Straightforward hotel
The staff work hard and are attentive and the hotel does the job all round. The only pain is the damp in the rooms from the high humidity that doesn't seem to be dealt with by the AC - that apart an honest little resort hotel

Weekend away
Nice and courteous staff but hotel felt old and tired. Gym equipment poorly maintained, pool bar closed, areas of refurbishment urgently required with peeling paint everywhere. Mini bar poorly stocked, no confectionary or soft drinks. No useful guides or maps of the locality either in room or at reception. No re-stocking or soaps or shampoos.

Review - 1 Night Stay - Sun 4th April 2010
I had a very enjoyable stay, however I do think the hotel feels a little dated (corridors etc...) inside and I personally would rate the hotel as a 3* NOT 4*!! Overall great weekend there and would definitely return!

Restaurant needs to improve
We stayed at the Golden Tulip Resort Dibba from the 26-28 March as 3 families and thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality. However, the restaurant was not found up to the mark. Firstly the food was very costly even compared to Dubai (which boasts as one of the most expensive place). Secondly, the service left a lot to be desired, especially on Sunday (when the hotel had very few guests). There was no buffet breakfast during this day and though the restaurant was supposed to have been open from 7.30 am, we had to wait for a long time to be served even after arriving for breakfast at 8.30 am. The staff seemed to be more eager to serve their colleagues who had also assembled for breakfast, leaving the guests to ponder when they would be served.
